happy birthday, hubby!

My hubby is 25!  Wahoo!  To celebrate this momentous occasion, I came up with 25 reasons why I love him.

1.  He loves the Lord.
2.  He encourages me in my walk with the Lord.
3.  He is an awesome dad to Jaden.
4.  He is tall, dark and handsome.
5.  He is a dedicated and responsible person.
6.  He is compassionate.
7.  He has a forgiving nature and does not hold grudges.
8.  He plays the drums.  And the djembe.  And I think drummers are pretty cool.
9.  He is my daily, earthly example of Christ's love and grace and mercy.
10.  He is my "Mr. Fix-it Handy Man"-and teaches Jaden these skills too.
11.  He understands me, when no one else does.   
12.  He thinks I am beautiful.
13.  He is super calm in chaos, and calms me down when I am stressed.
14.  He is trustworthy.
15.  He can play soccer.  He also coaches Jaden's pre-k team.
16.  He doesn't complain when dinner is late, or the laundry isn't done, or the dishes are piled in the sink.
17.  He loves my curly hair, even on days when I don't.
18.  He is silly-and encourages me to not be serious all the time.
19.  He is the most patient person I have ever met.  Ever.
20.  He takes out the trash.
21.  He teaches me how to slow down, and be still, relax, and enjoy the quiet times.
22.  He likes to takes walks with me.
23.  He stands up for what he believes in, even when it is hard, or unpopular.
24.  He is kind.
25.  He believes in me, and in our family, and the purpose that God has for us.

I am so very thankful for you, hubby!  I'm thankful God created you. I love seeing how God transforms you more and more each day into the man He wants you to be.  I am thankful that God's grace and love and mercy have brought us through five years of marriage, and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you.  Happy birthday, handsome!  I love you.
