I baked some chocolate chip cookies last night for our dessert (and, also, because I wanted chocolate!). Derek and Jaden sat at the table, and asked for glasses of milk.
I said "Milk for cookies? Why not just water because you already have some."
Jaden said (with a little four year old smirk) "Because everybody knows that milk goes with cookies!" (shakes his head) "Silly mommy!"
So cute.
