Recently I've really started to get into board games! (I mean, I've always been an avid board game fan, but in the past few weeks, I think I've kind of become a fanatic.) Derek and I got a couple new games for Christmas, and we've had fun playing them.
Our new favorite is called Sequence. We were playing it and watching Criminal Minds while Jaden was napping this past weekend. We had gotten a good three rounds in when I started to realize that I was winning...and Derek was not. So then we played another round, and I realized that HE'S LETTING ME WIN!
That, my friends, never happens. Ever.
I was shocked.
So I asked him if that's what he was doing. He looked up at me and smiled.
That's when it hit me.
My hubby was being selfless and caring and compassionate.
Or he was paying more attention to Criminal Minds than the game.
Either way, I realized I love spending time with my hubby and I also love that he let me win.
