"this is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it" Psalm 118:24
This morning when the alarm clock went off, I grumbled and complained in my head...you know, the "oooohhhh, it's too early!" and the "just five more minutes!" and the "man, I've got lots to do today, not sure how it's all going to get done!" thoughts. Somehow I managed to fling myself out of bed and head to the kitchen. And through my window, I saw the most beautiful sunrise coming up in the early morning dark. The sky was pink and purple and orange and the sun was starting to sparkle and dance through the colors. And then the thought struck me the Lord has made that sunrise. The Lord makes all things-and they are good. The Lord has made today for me to walk through. And I am to walk in it rejoicing because He is good.
